Free Time – A strategies & systems workshop to set your time free in 2024 

You have goals for 2024. (Let’s be honest – maybe too many!)

You may want to finish that book you’ve been thinking about, launch a new project or initiative, or take control of your time at work so you finally feel back in control.

But it’s hard to make progress on what’s most meaningful – sometimes, even to know what that is – because of the endless crush of emails and meetings and “administrivia” we all need to do.

We get it – and we’ve been there.

We'll be sharing what we know: we've both built successful six- and seven-figure solo consulting and speaking businesses, and done it while prioritizing thoughtful work-life balance — and being great friends! 

We decided to do this workshop together because we know it'll be fun, for us and for you.

It's an intimate gathering where we'll be sharing detailed, brass tacks insights with you about our favorite topics. We'll start with how to create more free time in your business and your life, and we'll move into how to take action on your most important long-term goals — in the midst of all the ‘short-term’ noise and exigencies.

What Does the Workshop Cover? 

You'll leave with: 

• A clear sense of your 2024 goals (where is the biggest ROI and what should you avoid or put on the backburner for now?)
• An understanding of where your time goes now – and steps you can take to cut out the waste
• Specific strategies and processes you can use to do more deep work that matters (instead of feeling like all you do is respond to email)
• Techniques for setting work boundaries and creating more white space in your calendar (including how to nearly eliminate meetings and polite ways to push back against the insistent)
• The exact mechanics of how to make extended vacations work (Dorie and Jenny both take at least 1-2 months off per year and will show you how they structure their time and planning to ensure their business can function smoothly)
• How to stop sailing the sea of shiny shoulds and learn how to say no to good things, so you can say yes to what’s next
• A strategic shift in how we conceptualize our time and energy (how can we accomplish twice as much in half the time, with joy and ease, while serving the highest good?)

Who Is the Workshop For? 

If you’re someone who has a lot of discretion over your time – you’re an entrepreneur, or self-employed, or you’re at a high level inside a company and get to call most of your own shots – and you want to get better at managing it, this workshop is for you. We want to help you make choices and small changes that can have a transformative effect on your work, life, and your creative projects. The workshop would be less useful for someone who doesn’t have a lot of control over their time at work.

Logistics  

The workshop takes place in Miami on Thursday, Feb. 1 and a half-day on Friday, Feb. 2. If you're one of the first six people to register, you'll be treated to a private wine and cheese reception the night before! 

On Thursday, Feb. 1, we'll meet from 9am-4pm, where we'll have an intense day of work, featuring hot seats, Q&A, interactive exercises to help you identify and overcome your own 'free time' roadblocks, and strategic deep-dives. We'll provide you with a healthy lunch. 

The next morning - Friday, Feb. 2 - we'll meet from 9am-11:30am, where we'll focus on helping you craft a roadmap for how to free your time even more effectively in 2024 and focus on the high-level projects that matter most and will move the needle for your business.
