Time to stop Franken-stringing software together . . .

Here are the Top Tools that Power My Business and Delightfully Tiny Team™

Notion

I am obsessed with Notion! It has replaced Asana, Trello, AirTable, Docs, Sheets, Evernote, and more. Now I have an entire intranet for my Delightfully Tiny Team and personal use — where I create content, manage tasks and projects, store process docs, and much more.

Substack

Substack is my favorite new platform as I writer and reade; it’s a super joyful experience in the Substack app (away from the chaos of email inboxes), engage with comments, an archive page, and grow more quickly from the broader network for each of my newsletters.

HelpScout

We manage our team email inboxes through HelpScout, where we can create workflows (automation), assign messages to different team members, write notes to each other, save drafts for someone else to take over, and see customer communication history.

Zapier

Where to begin for my love of Zapier?! It does so much it’s an additional team member in my business, automating everything from adding new BFF members to our Circle community and calendar entries to transferring podcast guests’ Calendly data into Notion…and so much more.

Canva

Beyond creating simple ads and graphics, I use Canva to layout more complex PDFs and printed assets, like the Free Time Press Release and the Leader Kit. I love the mobile app, and their direct send-to-print feature! I can create, print, and ship all from my phone. They also have fun new AI image-generation features :)

Circle

The perfect replacement for running private community groups (if you’re ready to move off of a mega social media platform), Circle powers our BFF Community and Free Time Dashboard VIP group with intuitive, delightful forum software, permissions, and mobile app. Easy to batch write and schedule posts too.

TextExpander

Automate everything from typing your contact information, to brand colors, to links you want to remember quickly, to longer guided responses for email replies. I always have TextExpander open in the background while I working.

Dropbox

All files for my business and personal life are saved into Dropbox so that backups are 24/7, and if anything happens to my laptop, no files will be lost. This also comes in super handy for sending links to hard files to other people (including team members) while on-the-go.

Free Time Toolkit

25+ free tools and templates to help you implement the three stages of the Free Time Framework: Align, Design, Assign. Including the Bottleneck Buster, Delegation Task Tracker, and Manager Manual. You’ll also get the full list of software that powers my business.
